What does my iMessage keep switching off does anyone know

I message is when the text is sent through wifi, basically when there is wifi connection it turns blue, if its sent through 3g/cellular, then its green. When its green you pay for the text and its not imessage

Is it actually being turned off as when you go to setting> messages and its set to off or when texting certain people the bubbles are green and for others the bubble is blue??

actually it turns off when you loose 3g not when your on wifi. Mine is iMessage over 3g and wifi but when i get the little o or "1x" it sends as a regular text

This is wrong has nothing to do with wifi i never use wifi and my imessage works perfect.

It works also on 3G/edge not just wifi
