hello there me n my partner av both purchased the iphone 4 can anyone plz tell me how to stop everything going on his phone n vice versa wen we plug it in to the computer thank v much !!

Assume you refer to the iTunes coming up and perhaps also the iPhone4 as an external drive?

There's a section in iTunes for settings,perhaps check there for preferences and modify?

Can someone tell me how to turn off the 3G. I have a prepaid sim, it is using my minutes in the back ground. If for example Skype when I forget to sign of after using it with WiFi.

Goto: Settings>General>Network - In the network section you can enable and disable 3G
