icloud account delete

i just bought the 2 weeks old iphone from a friend of mine. my problem is to delete his current icloud account. his account was not yet verified from his email since he could not also access his yahoo mail anymore. i have tried reset all settings but with no success. the phone but his account remain. second, i have tried erase all content and settings but it always asking the password which is not accepting because the account still requires the verification from his email address.

how can i bypass and delete his account to be able to put my own account for icloud.

any inputs, tips and tricks is highly appreciated.

somewhere he has a password for that account that was accepted. Until you get that password from your friend you are out of luck. It cannot be bypassed. With that I will close this thread.
