Icon disappears

Hi can anyone help, I have a iPhone 4 and at the bottom of the iPhone where you have 4 icons: phone, safari, messages and mail, my phone icon has disappeared. How do I get it back?

Try hard resetting (hold sleep/wake and home buttons until you see apple logo and release)
