Hey, everyone. Do you guys think it's possible to create a very small device that would attach to an iDevice and apply a tethered jailbreak by pushing a button? It would have some sort of uplink to be modified when new firmware comes out, and it would have a small battery source. Anyone think this is possible? It would be very useful for devices with bootrom exploits on firmwares without untethered jailbreaks.

You need iTunes installed on any computer/device you plug into your iDevice so that it recognised...

The driver and mobile assistant part of iTunes would be part of the devices.

Just looked it up. iDongle was used for 3.1.2. Hope they make a new one for iPhone 4!

iPhone4 has an untethered jailbreak, why would you need an iDongle?

The firmware will inevitably be upgraded and return it to a tethered jailbreak.
