Hello, first post

I lost my iPhone 4 a few weeks ago you see, I tracked it and a club has it and said they will keep it, its very far away you see though so I went to see them and they said I would need some way of identifying that the iPhone was actaully mine as they had about 15 different lost iPhones there, all run out of battery and I did not take my charger.

I still have my box of the original iPhone and I know it has the part number, serial number and IMEI number on the back of this box, are any of them numbers on the back of the iPhone that I could used to prove it is mine?

Thanks for the help

That is a simple one if you have the box and all.

Have them turn the phone on and go to Setting > General > About.... there is the Serial Num and MEID that is on your box!!!!

Good luck!

Hi, thanks for the quick reply

Is there nothing on the actual hard back of the phone that I can use?, otherwise I would have to ask them to sit there and then charge up each of the many phones that they have.

Thanks again

not really is all in the setup... the back have fcc info and model no. Your best think is to do what I mention in the previous message.

Buy or borrow a portable battery. Or pop out the SIM cards and match your SIM card number if you have it.

Bring your charger and call the phone in their face. If it rings then wonderful. You're in luck. I would still bring the box. If they refuse to return it. Lawyer up and get them for theft. As you proved your case
