If you have an iPod Touch and an iPhone and sync both, will the game data xfer?

Like save games, etc? Like if I buy my iPod Touch and start playing Secret of Mana, is there a way to transfer the game data to the iPhone when I get it?

When you get your iPod name it the same as your phone. Then choose to set it up from a back up of your phone.

You will need to sync your iPhone then you iPod to keep your gave saves up to date on each or visa-versa...

What if I only want to sync the game data though? Because I won't have some apps on the iPod if that makes sense...also I have them arranged differently...like on the iPhone the phone will be on the bar, but the iPod doesn't even have that

Well I have both the iPhone and iPod. If you use the same iTunes account you can share the apps between them and only have to pay once. You don't have to install all apps on both devices. You can pick and choose.

For instance I have infinity blade installed on both. If I play it on my phone then want to switch to the iPod because I've ran the phone out of battery. I sync the phone to iTunes then sync the iPod making sure I choose the back up of the phone. Then my game save is transferred...

Does this work if they are called different things? My son has an Itouch and I have an Iphone can they have the games loaded if they are all on same Itunes account?
