Hi all, i have an unlocked iPhone 5 and im travelling to Europe in a couple of weeks. i plan on getting a sim card from local provider when i get to europe. my question is, will i still be able to iMessage with everyone back from the states with my old phone number if im in wifi even though my new sim card is in?

No, the new SIM card will have it's own phone number. You'll have to let your friends and family know what your phone number will be when you get the European SIM card.

iMessage through WiFi using your email address, however, will be exactly the same.
