Yes. It automatically sends an iMessage to anyone I know with an iPhone and iOS 5.

I do and find it great ! It's one of the main reasons I switched to the iPhone after having a BlackBerry for years .

How is it not great? It works and that's it lol. You can send voids and pics for free and use it on iPad too. I like it.

I have to have iOS 5? I have 4.2.10 and jailbroken.

Yeah , it's a part of ios5. I have no idea if it works on a jail broken iPhone. Not sure if it would because it runs on apples servers.

I'm using iMessage for two weeks but sometime I have problem with delivering message
Sometime it late like hour or so. Also one time my message got erased in front of my eyes it was kind of
Strange first my message was not delivered the got deleted so today I turned iMessage OFF
Anybody have same problem ?

I've had issues with delivery initially states sent via iMessage & delivered then I look back later & it says sent via txt message etc

I don't think I have used it - I don't know anyone with an iPhone other than my daughter in law (we don't text much, mainly talk on the phone). Everyone I know has android phones, lol I am the odd one. It's nice to know that it's there when it's needed though
