Impossible to access my iPhone 4, 6.0

Hey everyone,

I just purchased a used iPhone 4 off eBay. It came in the post yesterday and I have tried ever since to get past the activation screen. The phone has iOS 6 installed, I have tried EVERYTHING! I have done the jailbreaker using redsn0w and when I go on the just boot option, it shows the pineapple as expected then boots the iPhone... back to the activation screen again!

I don't think it is possible to downgrade back to iOS 5 without the phones SHSH files. I feel like I have completely wasted my money.

Any help will be very appreciated!

Hello Tom...
You answered your own question...No SHSH files means NO downgrade..


Contact the seller and ask if the iPhone has been previously jailbroken(ask the person to email you the SHSH files if they are saved to their PC)...use redsn0w to check the Cydia server for any SHSH blobs if any....

I know I cant downgrade, but how can I actually use my iPhone I've bought??

You could try to restore the phone using iTunes and see if you can activate it there if it is locked to a network then you would need a sim from that carrier to activate it.
