Hi, I have had my 3gs for almost 3 years and have had it jailbroken most of that time. I have mostly done them myself but they are nerve-wracking for me. So... at one point i updated my firmware to 06.15.00 but I forgot about all the issues that I should have when I got legit unlock authorization from ATT since my phone was old enough to be out of contact. So stupidly I tried to do a restore and update and now I can't activate my phone. .
i have been going nuts thinking it was an Apple problem and only just figured out it was probably my fault...I am desperately hoping someone can help me get my phone up and running with step by step instructions.
Thanks for any and all input - it is hugely appreciated! If necessary, Apple will replace my phone for $150 - but i prefer not to do that if this is fixable and I also worry they would realize that it was not their software but my manipulations that were the problem.
