Incoming 'Unknown' and 'Private Number' Voice Calls Not Displaying Correctly

"Unknown", "Restricted", and "Private Number" calls may not display correctly on the UI during mobile terminated voice calls.
The following may be displayed: "7748283686237"

Sprint account.

Is this common on iPhone?

I have Verizon and my husband has a private number. He has an older Kyocera and when he calls me it says "Unknown". His associates have private numbers as well, and the ones with iPhones come up with a strange string of numbers, the same every time.

I use YouMail and it allows me to block private/blocked number.

When someone blocks the number manually before calling me...a message immediately says that the phone does not except blocked numbers, and to please unblock the number and call again.

When the number is blocked always...it just had a message saying the phone does not except blocked calls.

Thanks.
Sounds great, so will the YouMail free app accomplish the same?
Can you block 7 digit and 13 digit numbers?

YouMail Support informed me that 13 digit and 7 digit numbers CAN"T be blocked.

One would think a SMART phone like iPone would be able to block any number that the phone receives!!

I have no idea.

I have never received a 7 or 13 digit number call.

Only 10 and 11.

The random strong of numbers is common in the iphone for the private numbers, in other cell phones its however better and works well!
