IntelliscreenX - Mail Problem

I just bought IntelliscreenX - GREAT application. However, when I receive an e-mail - the top notification bar flips down 3 times for one message. And when I send a message to myself to test it, I receive two copies in my IntelliscreenX inbox.

Anyone run into this?

That's weird. Try uninstalling ISX, then install it again. You shouldn't have to activate your license again. It will be automatic, provided you are connected to the internet when doing so. Maybe give that a try. Never seen that problem. I have the latest ISX installed also. I hope this helps. Post back, let us know.

I have tried uninstalling it. It was also occurring when I had the trial version. I have my iPhone pulling e-mails from G-mail through Exchange... I just don't know why it would be flipping the notification bar 3 times and sending me a duplicate e-mail when I e-mail myself.

E-mails from other people only result in one (which is progress), but I still get the three notifications. I think it's something in conflict with the default iPhone setting...

Well it really can't be conflicting with the default iPhone setting........ If that were the case it would happen to everyone. My ISX is working quite flawlessly actually. But it may be interfering with another package you have installed from Cydia.

Or

Do you have the latest version installed, or is it a deb you downloaded and installed manually? The latest version is 1.2.5. Is that what you have?

The ONLY other package I have installed from Cydia is Five Icon Dock. Literally everything is stock.

EDIT: Made an interesting find... I went into Settings>Mail and turned "Notification Center" to off. Now, I still get my e-mail audio tone twice, but I do not receive the 3 banner notifications.

I don't understand why IntelliscreenX has your e-mail on the front page AND an option to scroll to it on the other page.

Yes, I am running the latest version - 1.2.5. I confirmed this in Cydia.

Hmmmmm. Weird. I don't know then.

Perhaps try "infinidock" instead of 5 icon dock. Worth a shot I guess. Tho I don't see how that would interfere. Plus you have way more extensions I stalled besides infinidock. You have to. Other wise ISX would not work at all.

This has stumped me. Last resort. Restore your phone. Sorry I have no good answer. Never had this problem. Make sure you have no other extension to Notifsication Center besides ISX and SBSettings.

I here "wee" packages sometimes interfere with ISX.

A package called Notification center enhancer is known to cause problems with ISX. I had custom rows set in Springtomize 2 and it messed up the way ISX worked. But i don't really know. Just throwing some ideas out there.

As I said, last resort.............................................restore.

The double tone is simply a bug in iPod 5 and happens o. Phone/iPod that are not even jailbroken. This is up to Apple to fix.

I don't know why ISX does that w/ email either. But it took me a little while to completely figure ISX and I personally dont use anything they offer except the ISX Quick Settings. I don't have my twitter,FB, or mail In Notification Center.

I basicall paid $10 for ISX QuickSettings.

Kinda decided I can't go w/ovdeleteing and marking read email rite from NC w/o opening mail app.

Oh well. I think too much stuff in NC will drain battery s lil faster

hi guys, i'm new around here and having some problems with ISX Mail widget, too

i don't usually fetch/push email, my notification center Mail is OFF, my accounts are set on Manual, everything should update only when i start Mail App. but after i installed ISX it just fetches mail whenever it pleases. if i send myself an email, i get the badge on the Mail icon in 20 seconds.. so.. could there be something with the Email management in ISX?
@zig9449: i know what you mean, i also loved the QuickSettings, that's mainly why i bought it, but still use the fb and twitter.
@icer22x: who did you email to? i'd like to get in touch with intelliborn, but i only have the twitter accound and got no reply yet.

I don't remember who I contacted. Of that it took me days to get an address.

Intelliborn sucks when it comes to support. I will see if I can find it. I post back.
