TiPb reports today that it has detected another new feature revealed in the recently released iOS 5 beta 3, namely AirPlay Mirroring for FaceTime. According to TiPb, the new feature enables you to easily have a video call with someone via FaceTime, and show it simultaneously on your HDTV. TiPb got some hands-on (and face-on!) time with the new feature at a developers house, and described the experience as compelling and magical, commenting on how it turns the regular small-screen and more personal FaceTime experience into a much bigger, group experience with a simple touch of a button. You can imagine this going down a storm in the business world, being ideal for conference calling. Obviously as far as the iPad goes, it will only work with the iPad 2, as you need a front-facing camera for FaceTime of course, and as Cult of Mac points out, youll have to keep your iPad 2 in front of you when making the FaceTime call. It also turns the iPhone into a very handy conference-calling tool.
