iOS 6 battery issue?

Hi guys,

I have been using the 4S for a week and I love it! Great device and light years ahead of the BB S2 from which I upgraded.

BUT... I've noticed the battery drains rather quickly and this is disconcerting. From what I've read around the web, it's related to the new iOS.

Are any of you experiencing battery life issues with iOS 6 and if so, are you aware of a solution/ workaround?

I barely get 6 hours out of my iPhone 4S on iOS 6 compared to the 7.5 hours I used to get on iOS 5.1.1. And I have found no way to correct this situation.
