Apple has today moved to fix the security flaw that was detected when iOS 7 was released last week that basically meant that someone could bypass your passcode on the Lock screen and thus gain unauthorised access to your device.

According to 9to5 Mac, the update now brings all iOS 7-supporting devices up to date, with last week’s initial iOS 7.0.1 only available for download for the newly released iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c. The update also re-introduces the Greek keyboard option for passcodes.

9to5 Mac reports that Apple has been testing this bug fix internally for the past couple of weeks, as well as another (presumably bigger) update, which is being referred to internally as iOS 7.1. It’s possible that this will be released as soon as next month, when the two new iPad models are expected to launch.

To get the update, if you haven’t already done so today, simply navigate to Settings>General>Software Update. The maximum size of the file is 20MB, so it shouldn’t take too long to download.
