I purchased a used iphone 4,s that had been on ATT service. Phone was unlocked and jailbroken with cydia.
IOS 6.1.1. I purchase a walmart straight talk sim and have been up an running for about a year. computer guy installed an app called tether me which allows my phone to be a hotspot. for my ipad. while traveling.
I want to up grade to ios 7 but was told I would lose the tether me app?? I've tried to upgrade by going to setting,general,software update but phone just say checking for update and runs nonstop (last time for about 9 hours with no changes. Hoping someone can point me in the right direction to get 7.1 + and then possibly to get the tether me program back. Also just downloaded DirectTV control app, but it says will not run jailbroken phones? Thanks ahead to time for any assistance
