Hi : Sorry for asking a simple question, but I'm having a problem with a 4S ios upgrade. I purchased this phone that was unlocked (ATT phone) and jailbroken. It has ios 6.1.1. Only app that maybe a jailbroken one
is tether me which i use while traveling on my ipad. I want to upgrade to ios 7.1+ but was told I would lose the tether me app. I tried to upgrade the ios sys. by going to settings,general, upgrade and phone will just say
searching, I left it this way for 9 hours and nothing happened. As I said I want to upgrade and then hopefully be able to get the tether me app back on. Not sure where to get that app if successful with the ios upgrade??
I also got two apps ( one for DirectTV the other for a alarm system which when I try and run them it states will not work on a jailbroken phone. can these be made to work??> thanks for any help. I'm new to this game.
