Hi, I have an iPad 1 which I have not upgraded to ios5, having read reports of problems that some have experienced.
However I am considering getting an I phone. My question is this, if I get an IPhone will I be able to synch my iPad apps on to the iPhone, or is this not possible if they have different OS. Many thanks.

Yes..you will be able to sync iPad apps to iPhone.

However there are "some" apps that are made for the iPad only......but most work on both.

And iOS 5 is fine. I don't know about these "problems" you heard about....but I am sure it's just because of iOS 5.

The latest iOS 5.1.1 is very stable and worked out a lot bugs that were in earlier iOS 5 versions.

There is no reason not to update to iOS 5......no reason at all.

Many thanks.I have hesitated because I have read of concerns that the ipad1 isn't powerful enough to cope with IOS 5 and that some apps keep crashing after installing it. Although I like to keep up to date , so far I have thought perhaps it is best to stick with what I have.
