Recent news in the new iOS 4.2 Beta 2 build, the iPad might be getting a tethering feature right in the Settings app. Now, this feature should have been there from the start, there is no reason that we shouldn't have tethering. Now there is a strict cap on a lot of users accounts that only allows that up to 2GB of data. Now, if we go over that data by tether to an iPhone or a laptop, I believe that is our own fault?
Tethering for the iPad will only be available in some countries around the world. For now, we know that US is not supported, we don't even know if this will be in the final build of 4.2, they could just be testing it or a goof up. Hopefully we will see more info on this when iOS 4.2 comes out in November.
