iPhone 11 Pro Max sold out?

I called around to several stores this afternoon trying to get my hands on a 256gb iPhone 11 Pro Max. No luck!! I'm surprised how popular this launch is. I was going to hold off for a bit, but the more reviews and hands-on videos I watched today, the more excited I got!

I think it’s where you live I’m in Lansing, Mi and got the pro max one Friday on order. Stupid me bought a 64 gig. Saturday morning about 9am got online and the GrandRapids store had all the colors in the 256. Tagged, paid and picked it up at 11am. Returned the 64 at the same time.

pro Max is available the same day if you go to the stores, if you try to order they say not available at store. Got one and cancelled that I ordered on line to be delivered in 2 week.
Looked at mid night green, looked too grayish by close look, picked up gold, really looks great, got the Spigen Hybrid S case for $14 and screen protector for S11 with free shipping from Amazon very happy.
