Hey all,
This is my first post on this forum, I can't seem to figure this darn problem out.
Basically, I bought the iPhone 2G back in 2007, and I jailbroke it in 2007 and it got ALLLLL messed up so I just put it back in the box and left it until yesterday. I really want to fix it!
1. It is running iOS 1.1.3
2. The phone WILL boot into the OS, but it doesn't show it is charging and will eventually just die and go back to the battery logo with the lightning bolt. After it is on that screen, it will eventually boot back into the OS, but same ol thing, it just dies again.
3. When it goes into the OS, I have about 3 min to play with it before it dies again..I notice the WIFI is greyed out, the Bluetooth is greyed out and there is NO modem firmware installed.
4. I tried resetting it, but it just freezes.
5. No PC/MAC will recognize it
6. iTunes will not recognize it either, not even in DFU mode.
7. It isn't the 30-pin connector, I just bought a BRAND NEW OEM cord today!
What is the darn problem and how can I fix this thing?
Please let me know if you all need me to clarify on anything!
