i have a 3gs running version 4.0.2 and im having problems syncing with my itunes. I get the error "itunes could not connect to this iphone because an unknown error occured (0xE800000A)" I am using itunes v10.4 as well.
i did a quick google search for this problem but did not get a satisfactory response, so i hope someone here is more knowledgeable.
if possible, i'd like to avoid restoring my phone as i have not been able to sync it lately, and would not like to lose any of my recent photos and what not.
