Hi all I'm new to this forum and hope to get some help with my problem.
I have tried to jailbreak my partners phone, the iphone 3gs and now I cannot install any firmware or even get past the point in itunes where it searches for updates etc.
so far I have
*changed the host file for apple etc
*tried using snowbreeze, umbrella, ireb and redsnow and still nothing
*downloaded new firmware (new and old) and tried putting through snowbreeze but itunes will not install new firmware.
i have tried putting in folder for update but it comes up with error " an unknown error occurred (-1) and then a bit later an error saying (3194)
i have gone through all forums and tried what people have said but still it wont reset.
at the moment it has a picture of itunes on screen.
please could someone help and this is the new boot version.
i have also tried downloading firmware from 3.1 all the way to 5.1
it was on 5.1 before I messed around with it.
