My girlfriend has a 3gs with an old soft 4.1, she wants the update but do not know exactly what and how. Phone got and do not know the origin. After the update can be simlock , lock ( stolen? )or activation?
First Do update to 6.0 via iTunes? (If so what the Sim and lock [if this happens]?
Second If not for 6.0 to 5.1.1 (in my 4 so I can not, and it probably will not go too) - how to do?
