Iphone 4 3G issue

Whenever i turn on my 3g connection the signal will start dropping to nothing. When i reboot, its ok. So basically ineed to reboot whenever i turn on 3g. Gprs mostly works fine, but in general, it seems like my phone has an issue when jumping from onecarrier transmitter to another. It might not have a signal for half a minute and then it pics it up again. With 3g it's muchmore sensitive. It will drop the signal and migh tnever get it back

Any ideas?

That happens to me sometimes when I turn my 3G on, the signal will suddenly become 1-2 bars. Although on most days, signal is fine even with the 3G on. I guess that depends on how stable the cellular network's services are on that day.

So does the low signal happen to you all the time or just sometimes?
