iPhone 4 4.2.10 "Tethered" Jailbreak problems

After installing Redsn0w and going through the steps to jailbreak the phone, everything works fine and Cydia is running great. I downloaded a few recommended apps and went to go reboot my phone as tethered (with Redsn0w) and now its stuck at the apple logo and reboots every few minutes with the same thing.

My question to anyone who can help is:
Have you heard of this problem happening? And, am I doing something wrong while downloading the apps and re-jailbreaking it?

I was finally going to break down and jailbreak my iPhone last night. I'm on 4.2.10. BUT after researching a ton, there is no jailbreak for us. You can break it, but once you download an app off cydia, it won't work. Sorry. You can downgrade to 4.2.8 or 9 if you saved you shsh blobs and jailbreak that way. But if you didn't save them before you updated, than you just have to wait till an iOS 5 jailbreak comes out.

macluva is correct, there are no working jailbreaks for 4.2.10, restore a factory firmware and wait for iOS5

It wont be long till IOS 5 comes out, maybe the end of September
