Iphone 4 and cases

I just ordered an iphone 4 and saw it mentioned in a thread here (can find it again for the life of me) that the iphone 4 requires a case to prevent dropped calls. I was wondering if it matters what case? Will the otterbox defender case work?

Bumpers? As long as the case provides some kind of pressure by "squeezing" the portion of the iPhone where the antenna is located, it's fine. I think Otterbox should work. Not sure if all of them, but I know that the Defender does according to a colleague
