iPhone 4 connect to iTunes 0xE80004

hi guys,

I have an iPhone 4 with greyed out wifi. It was locked to vodafone and i requested an unlock. After my phone was unlocked to complete the process i had to connect to iTunes. However on connecting to iTunes I got this error. Could not activate iPhone error 0xE800004. After that i tried to restore the iPhone but during the setup process i get the connect to iTunes page, on connecting my iPhone to iTunes i get the same error could not activate iPhone error 0xE800004.

Anyone know how to fix this?

This error sometimes occurs when connecting an iPhone to a Windows computer. Is your Windows and iTunes up to date? Have you tried other USB ports? Here's the Apple support page. If you see a '0xE' error when you connect your iOS device to a PC - Apple Support
