hi guys this is my first of many posts this forum seems really cool...

i rang up my carrier today to get my iphone 4 unlocked and paid the money was only 28 euros.... just wonderin does anyone know how long this will take? and will i get a txt of apple to say its unlocked? any help would be great thanks..

it does not take long for the carrier to unlock it and you just hook up your iphone to itunes and it says congratulations its been unlocked.

Do i have to update the software for it to unlock?....

Its jailbroken on 4.1 at the moment would apple be able to tell its jailbroken?..

According to the first reply my phone is unlocked..

i dont think so but i have never done it that way so you might want to confirm with the carrier
