iPhone 4 Genre Doubles

So I've recently added all the music i want on my iPhone into a single playlist, (so i can just sync that and only have songs i still listen to) however on the 'Genre' list within 'Music' on my iPhone the 'Alternative' genre is doubled, listed at the top (alphabetically where it should be) and then midway down between 'Hip-Hop' and 'Mashup'. The songs within both versions are consistent, i.e. there's no space after the genre name (Alternative, Alternative ) to cause doubles, it just seems to be listed twice.

I have tried removing all the songs within the 'Alternative' genre, taking them off my iPhone then re-snycing to no avail. Any idea's why it's coming up twice, and why halfway down the list?
