Iphone 4 jailbreak with redsnow- No Service after jailbreak

I have iphone 4 running ios5 (9A334) basband 04.11.08
I have jailbreaked iphone using Redsnow, has jailbreaked, but has not unlocked, as still says No Service, I must be missing something, can people please offer advice

Hello and welcome to the forum.......
You might have to return back to stock and do the program fresh. Why are you JB it any ways, its only a tethered JB? I would just run IOS5 untill the real JB hits and your issues will go away.

Hi have done that several times, phone is locked to Telus from canada and i'm in Australia, spoke to Telus and they said they can't unlock.
I think my problem is that the the baseband 4.11.08 can't be unlocked.
