Hello friends

I own a iphone 4 on baseband 5.1..... and yestarday i wanted to update it until 6.1.3

I did the process through the phone and it appeard the itunes logo, i conected the phone to itunes and it said that i have to restore and everything will be removed....

Is there any chance to download the pics?

i tried with tiny umbrella to try to get the loop of but it didnt do anything

Many thanks

Baseband and iOS are completely different things. Baseband distinguishes the "firmware" on your baseband chipset, and iOS is the operating system. You can try using RedSn0w's "Recovery Fix" to fix the issue, as that fixes any restore-based Recovery Mode issues that arise. Download link for RedSn0w is below based on computer OS.

Instructions:

Run RedSn0w. Go to Extras > Recovery Fix. Plug your device in. Follow the on-screen instructions.

RedSn0w 0.9.15 beta 3 (Latest):

Windows Download

Mac OSX Download

My iphone will never leave recovery mode i start the dfu by pressing corner button for 3 seconds but itunes logo appears

Use the alternative method. Plug your device into your computer. And go to the Recovery Mode screen.

Then hold both the power and home button together for 10 seconds. Your screen should be black by around 7-8 seconds, but hold it for the complete 10 seconds. After the complete 10 seconds, release the power/sleep button but keep holding onto the home button until your computer recognizes that there's new hardware being installed. You would either hear a little tone or a little message bubble would appear.

Where is the recovery mode screen?

Sorry for my ignorance

Recovery Mode is when your device is at the Connect to iTunes screen

You can pull photos from iPhone backup files using a program called "Wondershare Dr.Fone for ios" All you need to do is find out where itunes has been storing her back ups, Also, if you restore, during the initial activation process, you can click "restore from icloud" on your iphone. If you have already passed through this then you can go to settings>general>reset>reset all content and then the phone will erase everything and start up at the iPhone activation process again. Hope this helps.
