TUAW reports today that after many months of threatening to do so, the iPhone 4s camera has finally overtaken the Nikon D90 as the most used camera of all on photographic site Flickr. As you can see from the graph, the iPhone 4s 5-megapixel beauty is riding high above the likes of the aforementioned Nikon D90, and Canons triumphant trio of the EOS 5D Mark II, EOS Digital Rebel XSi, and EOS REBEL T1i.
TUAW notes that the iPhone 4s camera was already ruling the roost in the cameraphone category, leaving its baby brother and nearest rival, the iPhone 3G, trailing way behind in its wake. In fact, the only non-Apple device in the cameraphones top five is HTCs Evo 4G.
According to TUAW, Flickr says that it receives more than 4,800 photos shot on the iPhone 4s camera every day, totalling 9 million overall. The iPhone 3 is still way out in front with just under 36 million photos submitted.
