Iphone 4 signal

Hi also have an iPhone 4 and the signal on it is absolutely disgusting it is unlocked to any network and have a giffgaff sim in it giffgaff runs off the O2 network does anyone have any ideas how to boost the signal

I don't think that there is way to boost up the signal, do you have the same signal level when you are for example in town? If not then it could be a bad signal reception in your area.
