Iphone 4 verizon

Hi, I need some help fast, my iphone 4 is from verizon and it had 4.2.8 and it was jailbroken, but something happen today, I plug into itunes and it said something about 4.2.10 and it started, but I unplug my phone, so I lost cydia and now my iphone won't start up, it is black and I have tried to push the top button and the home button, but nothing. I have also plug it in to itunes, and it doesnt show my iphone. Help me someone, please...

I plug it into itunes, just now and it says my iphone is in recovery mode and that I must restore it, but it won't restore. Thanks for the help

Hold home and power together for 10 seconds to reset it. If you have your 4.2.8 SHSH you can downgrade, otherwise you will have to restore 4.2.10 which there are no jailbreaks for currently.

Thanks, I have tried holding down both buttons, but the apple just shows on the screen and nothing else, itunes doesn't see my phone either.
