iphone 4 vs Samsung Galaxy S II

iphone 4 vs Samsung Galaxy S II

I bought the SGS2 about 2 months ago because I thought that there finally was an iPhone killer out. After having the phone for a while on AT&T, I have lots to say...

Battery life is about the same, even running a duel core processor and animated backgrounds. As far as hardware, the SGS2 is DIFFERENT than the iPhone 4, no better no worse. You get a faster processor, but it heats up when you put it to use. You get a bigger screen, but I found my self constantly zooming in on web pages to read stuff. It did look VERY nice playing angry birds, but again, the phone gets very hot. I can answer any other questions people may have. After a few months of using it, just yesterday, I reactivated my iPhone 4 and I'm much happier. It comes down to the software. Android is a great product, but they will always have compatibility issues. There are so many manufactures making so many devices that they all have different software issues. Apple devices, from computers to handsets, are completely made from in house products. Apple is able to have much better quality control one hardware and software. You pay a premium, but you are getting a premium quality product.

Bottom line, Apple stuff will give you less head ache.

Nice post...I agree with you on the statement about apple products and android manufacturers.

Good posting, cydia.ghost. Both iOS and Android are fine systems, but iOS is so much more reliable and stable -- in the long run. After using both quite extensively, iOS is better. Now.......... iTunes is another matter!!!

Just had a play with my friend new Galaxy S II, it looks very sleek and aesthetically nice but I noticed the display is not as great as my iphone 4, so I did some research and was amazed to notice that the New Galaxy resolution is only 800 x 480 compared to the over one year old iphone 4: 960 x 640. The battery life also seems to be an issue from what I have read, but the Galaxy does look quite attractive.

Being a dual core processor, it will consume more battery. Smart phones do have high resolutions and more App. That for sure consumes battery. But the iphone is much better than Samsung SII because “if you don’t have an iphone, you don’t have an iphone”.

ROFL, I can see the commercial is working, cheers.

don't be so serious to a mobile phone.
both Iphone4 and Galaxy is good, but you need more time to learn how to use an android phone.
someone thinks the process "learning how to use an OS is funny",and someone thinks it's boring.it's easy to see that the first kind of people need an Android phone.

I have both and the battery life is a little better in the Samsung especially after I updated my iPhone to 4.3.5.
