iphone 4

hello i'm new her and trying to jailbreak my iphone 4 untethered. I've tried red snow my brother has just jail broken his iphone on att same as mine but with modem firmware 4.11.08. Ive tried redsn0w.9.10b5 but it gets stuck at the rebooting stage and just reboots normally.
brand: verizon
ios: 5.0.1(9A405)
modem firmware:3.0.03
Any help is appreciated i need to know if this possible and how to do it if some one could tell me.

Download the latest redsn0w and follow this tutorial... it should work.

tried redsnow many times i did it the right way used the latest version and it just boots up normally not with cydia on it ive

Download the 5.0.1 ipsw,
Then go into redsn0w and go to extras. Select ipsw. Then select the 5.0.1 ipsw that you downloaded. This will point redsnow to that firmware. I was having the same problem. But this fixed it.

Alternatively....you could use sn0wbreeze. I did and it worked great. Best to restore and setup as new and not from a backup, but if you were having absolutely no problems on the phone at all, then u could just restore from backup.
