Hi,
Firstly thanks in advance for any help.
Shortly after installing ios 6.1.2 and also using a third party headphone lead my Loudspeaker located at the bottom of my phone stopped working completely.
No sounds at all from loudspeaker (caller, ringtones, keyboard clicks, alerts, alarms, music etc etc)
Sounds will play thru the headphones, ear mike & the docking/charging device.
Ringer just displays "ringer" not "ringer headphones", so I do not think the phone thinks it is still connected to the headphones,
After trying numerous attempts to fix (soft restart, fiddling/cleaning headset & docking connections etc
(searching the web for hrs)) contacted Orange support who suggested I do a clean install and iphone restore.
Before I do this long and possibly dangerous (data loss) step I wondered if anybody else had any ideas suggestions,
Once again thanks in advance.
Pete
