Iphone 4s Problem.

okay so i dropped my iphone in the toilet. i took it all apart and let it dry out and cleaned all the ports and the put it all back together. it worked 100% perfect for a week or two, then my display would shut off but the phone would still be on, because i would get texts and calls and it would vibrate/ring. to fix this problem, i would have to unplug my battery, plug it back in and turn it back on and my display would work. then it would work great until 5 minutes later the display would shut off again. so i would just unplug my battery again and it would work. this is getting really annoying. so i am wondering if anyone knows anyway i could fix this. could my battery be messed up? if i replace my battery could it correct this problem? thanks everyone

You'll have to go through a more thorough checklist of the device to see what's up with it. You might also want to replace the battery in some cases. Check the LCIs and look for any impurities carefully.
