I purchased my iPhone 5 last fall and it worked great. For the past month or so, the battery indicator has been fooling me. It will charge to 100% (using the cable that came with the iPhone) and then slowly go down and stop at 86% or 67% (or currently at 49%). Then at some point when I try to access the phone it is dead. When I plug it into the wall to charge it will take 10 to 12 hours to charge. I have tried multiple hard resets with no relief. I took it back to the store where I purchased it (Marshall Wireless, not an Apple store) and he looked at it, blew some air in the charging port and said he had never heard of the issue. I have my phone in an Otter box case. Has anyone heard of a similar issue? Does Apple monitor this forum?
Thanks in advance,
Joe
