If you were craving for an iPhone 5 all of this time, but failed to get your hands on one, still, this might be the right time to do so. Just in time for the Christmas holidays, Apple has brought in a fresh supply of next generation iPhones in order to satisfy the needs of every gift seeking customer. Since the device launched, Apple has been having troubles keeping up with the massive demands, but apparently, the company managed to stabilize the problem just in time for the gift season.
Only last week did Cupertino announce that shoppers ordering an iPhone would be getting their devices shipped out in 2-4 days. Now, that estimate seems to have dropped even more dramatically. Parties interesting in purchasing a brand new iPhone will be happy to observe that Cupertino updated its shipping plans for its latest handset. Customers situated not only in the United States and Canada but also in several other countries have begun noticing that in Apple online stores, the shipping status has been upgraded to immediately.
The iPhone 5 proved so popular ever since its launch that Cupertino managed to sell a whopping 5 million devices in just the first week after releasing the phone.
"Demand for iPhone 5 has been incredible and we are working hard to get an iPhone 5 into the hands of every customer who wants one as quickly as possible, said CEO Tim Cook back then. Nevertheless shipping in the UK still remains at 1-3 days but judging by the fact that Apple is relatively quickly improving its shipping times, it will drop under this threshold in the near future.
