MacRumors reports that extremely well-sourced and credible analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo from KGI Securities, has issued a very detailed report about Apples plans for the iPhone this year. In the report, Kuo goes along with current rumours of a summer release for the next iPhone, although he expects it to be earlier than the August time frame that we have just heard about from iMore today. In Kuos opinion, Apple will announce the next iPhone in June, and it will then go on sale in July. Kuo goes on to say that both the iPhone 5S and a cheaper version of the iPhone will be launched in June, at the same time that iOS 7 will also be unveiled to the public. After that, TDD-compatible iPhones that will work in China will be released in September, Kuo writes. He also says that all versions of the iPhone, both regular-priced and budget versions, will have LTE support, but with differing specs. He adds that the iPhone 5S will run on the faster A7 processor, the camera will have a Smart Flash, and there will also be a fingerprint chip underneath the Home button, for improved security and enhanced usability. The cheaper phone will be made of fibreglass and plastic, yet still heavier than the iPhone 5S, which will have an aluminium case. Kuo is a good source, so this is very interesting news indeed.
