iPhone 7 Won't Sync

I cannot get my new iPhone 7 to sync on Ford Sync. It keeps saying make sure sync is turned on. Both BT on Ford Sync and iPhone 7 are turned on. Any suggestions?

Have you told Sync to pair with a new device? This is done from the Bluetooth menu in your vehicle's radio

Your radio will then post a number to enter on the phone so it will pair

Got mine Synced, but on the third or fourth try. One thing I have not figured out yet, on my iPhone 6 Sync would read texts to me. On my 7 Sync does not recognize that I received a text...

I use "Hey Siri" and have her read my latest texts, works great
