With the recent release of the iPad Air, we can all agree that both Apple and consumers love the look of the device and the iPad Mini. The iPhone 5S however took the same design as the iPhone 5, which was expected, but next year we're hoping for a change.
has released numerous concepts of Apple devices in the past and is personally one of my favorite concept designers. This time around Federico Ciccarese is back with a concept for a device called the iPhone Air. The iPhone Air is basically a slimmed down iPhone with an iPad Air/Mini design. The curved aluminum sides remind us of the original iPhone, which personally once again, was my favorite iPhone to hold thus far. This new iPhone design seems like a mix between the first generation iPhone, the iPod Touch 5th generation, and the new iPad Air/iPad Mini.
Most rumors are saying that next year's iPhone 6 will have a larger display, so this device doesn't quite fit in with the rumor mill. Doing a little thinking, the iPhone Air would make a nice substitute for the iPhone 5S next year, like the iPhone 5C did this year. Nevertheless, we love the design and would love Apple to create a future device as beautiful as this one. Let us know below what you think of Federico Ciccarese's iPhone Air.
