iphone and blue tooth

In my car, my iphone is supposed to connect automatically using Blue Tooth. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, shutting the phone off completely solves the problem. What can be done to get the phone to connect automatically all the time???

Buy a new car.

If the car is new take it back to the dealer. If not give it to a car radio specialist and let them check it out.
It might help to do a new reconnect between your iPhone and your radio.
