iPhone Backup (using iTunes)

I have a question about backing up my iPhone. I first completed a full backup on my PC using iTunes, and it took about 12 hours. I was curious if I would get the same result on my laptop. So I completed a full backup on there using iTunes again (same phone, and same cable), and it only took about an hour. Both my PC and my laptop seem to be working just fine. What could cause this large time difference?

You already made a backup once so most likely a lot of the same info went to the laptop when you performed the backup there which is most likely why it didn’t take near as long. Hope that makes sense.

It was the first backup on both my PC and my laptop.

The PC likely has an older USB1 port on it which severely limits data transfer speed. Back in the day it was amazing, but not anymore.
