I have an old truck that we use to pull our horse trailer or for hauling hay. That's pretty much it. It doesn't have Apple CarPlay capability. I have loaded into Apple Maps a myriad of locations where we occasionally go to ride. I have been using a phone mount that uses suction to adhere to the dash. It is worn out and no longer wants to stick, especially on warm, sunny days. The darn thing is likely to fall off the dash upon the slightest bump in the road! So, I am looking for you suggestions as to a secure phone mount. I'd prefer not to cover up an air vent if there's a way to avoid that. (My iPhone is the XR and not able to be mounted with MagSafe mounts.) Thanks for your tips!
