IPhone equalizer issue NOT battery related

I have noticed that when I plug my 4s in to charge that the equalizer setting in sometimes changed to OFF. This only happens with certain iphone cables that I have. Are there differences in the cables? They are all Apple cables. It's not a big deal... but highly irritating. Any ideas? Thanks for the input.

Have never heard of such an issue. Please post back any info you may find on the subject. Sorry I couldn't help more.
