iphone keeps shutting off..

My iphone keeps shutting off if I am on it for about 5 mins or so.. If it is just setting there and I am not on it, it stay on, but when I am on a call or text messaging for about 5 min it resets.. Any ideas on what I should do?

I would try a complete restore and if you still have the same issue just get it exchanged.

how do i do a complete restore?

Just do a backup sync. Then on the first tab on iTunes there is a restore button. After it has restored just re-sync your data.

is that the same thing as goin to "settings" and the "Reset all settings"?

No, it reloads the ios from new. Reset just erases the data and settings.

ok, so there is supposely at restore button when you click on the itunes tab? I didn't see it.

Disregard the red circle.... Under version is the button.
